Kariakoo Market in Dar Es Salaam

Kariakoo is biggest and busiest market in East Africa Community which occupies several city blocks and the former barracks of the British Carrier Corp. It is located in Dar Es Salaam town, a largest city in East Africa with more 1.361 persons on 1,590 km² in Tanzania. This market is the cheapest one in the sub region because it is near from the Indian Ocean.
Burundians already joined in their different businesses but they encounter the serious problem of distance.

Besides the distance matter, another is the exchange rate that discourages businessmen who do not easily use  the up today transfers of money .Thus Burundians are surprised  not to found easily Burundian international francs in the country of the same region.Blacks markets abuse and decide an exchange rate of 50 per cent.
