The UK government recently signed a contract with Rwanda, stipulating that migrants seeking asylum to the UK shall be sent to Kigali for settlement.
The UK has signed another contract with Nigeria, targetting illegal migrants who transgress the law in the UK, who will be automatically reoriented to Nigeria. The british minister of internal Affairs, Priti Patel, explained that this partenership seeks to reduce the number of criminals so that safety be increased in on UK’s roads. This partnership was revealed a few hours after ten Nigerians were deported for having transgressed the migration law.
Note that this contract was concluded, while the first flight to Rwanda from the UK in line with the Rwanda Asylun Plan was refused by the European human rights court.
