The CAF inspector in charge of the inspection of stadium standards, Amadou Issaka, is in Burundi to inquire about the state of the stadiums in Burundi. His visit began with the Intwari stadium of Bujumbura, whose rehabilitation activities are planned soon.
He will continue his visit to the Urukundo stadium in Ngozi before going to the Tankoma stadium under construction in Gitega.
The main objective of this visit is to identify the needs and challenges for these stadiums to meet the conditions required by FIFA and CAF to host international matches.
